Alfredo & Edeath, are a couple of music lovers who met later in life but grew up loving almost the same bands and hating others but always listening to music, old and new, and apart from collecting vinyl and books and going to see every good band coming to town, (or a few miles away), got together and created "I think i better follow you around", a website/music blog, where they share all the music they like and help promote upcoming concerts, local bands from San Diego and Tijuana and amazing artists from around the world.

It is my nod to the simplicity of my favorite Tom Petty songs and to my love for Wim Wenders’ film “Paris, Texas”. The feeling of standing in the lonesome desert, embracing every particle of yourself, even the ones that are hard to look at, and fighting for your spirit to move through this world without entanglement. It is about being present and embracing the future while wholeheartedly letting go of any amount of control that I think I have in this life. ‘Billboard Heart’ is both a longing for something that may not exist and a place where I can be free.”

Barry Burns shared this about the song: “The song needed some melody or vocals, but I couldn’t come up with the lyrics so I asked my seven-year-old daughter to make some up, and she did and I sang them.”

A Place To Bury Strangers have shared their third single, “Bad Idea”, off their upcoming album “Synthesizer” out October 4th via Dedstrange.
The video for the song was directed by: “While touring with the band doing visuals and lighting since 2022, I’ve been lucky enough to experience the band perform new songs and see the development of Synthesizer. In 2023, they started performing “Bad Idea” and I was immediately hooked. It’s one of those live songs that really just takes you along for the ride and is really fun to do visuals and lights for. As the year went on we started talking about videos and elements for the new album and I was approached to do a video for this song and was immediately happy and grateful. I’ve been filming the band on tour and in their practice studio since December of 2023 and have been taking my Hi8 camera on the road and filming the shows. I tried my best to capture as much of the chaos of seeing the band live that I could, it’s an intense journey!”
Oliver Ackerman shared this about the song: “John Fedowitz (bass) came to the studio with a simple looping drum beat, thinking he didn’t have any good ideas — thus, the song was his ‘bad idea’. We each penned some lines on paper, and he sang the ones that resonated. After a few instrumental passes, the recording was complete. The result is an innovative track born from spontaneous collaboration and a touch of self-doubt, turned into something uniquely captivating.”

Miranda shared this about the song: “King Khan was playing us some old King Khan and BBQ Show demos and we found a skeleton voice memo in which the phrase ‘can’t take it’ stuck out to us. The music to the song came super easily and by the end of the day we were all shouting ‘can’t take it’ at the top of our lungs. It was truly easy for all of us to act in this video because I was genuinely so hungover from our NYE party with Black Lips. I definitely felt like I ‘couldn’t take it’ doing 12 hours of Pilates.”

The video was done by Bill Barminski. This is what he shared about it: “We all come from the same place and there seems to be a bond between people who were there. So when Duane asked me to do this video I naturally said yes. It’s all hand drawn cell animation that I have been experimenting with. Very kinetic and fast-paced, which matched the song very well.”
Duane Denison shared this about it: “I met Bill in Austin back in the mid ‘80s. He was doing underground comics and zine-type stuff. We met through mutual friends in the punk rock scene and recently became reacquainted through social media.”

Tessa Parks shared this about the song via a press release: “This was the only song on the album that we didn’t write from far apart and inspired us to finish the album in person. Ruari sent me this song in early July 2023, literally seconds after I had said goodbye to my sister, Isabella, who was traveling that summer to Paris from King’s Cross Station. As always, Ruari’s timing was perfect and the music sounded exactly like how I was feeling. This song is my gratitude to my family—and my sister especially—for being the main reason for my sobriety from alcohol, and the happiness I felt reconnecting with my sister after a fractured few years. In a broader sense, though, it’s important to remember that everyone in the world is related. We are all family. We can all always be on the same team.
