Richard Fearless shared this about the release: “Over the last few years I’ve been dealing with the loss of loved ones and trying to navigate the world in all its insanity. I’ve been finding solace in power electronics, soaking in Ramleh’s ‘Hole in Heart’ to the machine funk of Terrance Dixon’s Population One, the unflinching wonk of Jamal Moss, the stunning minimalism of Ø inhaling the deepest Dub, drowning in the acid soaked TLM 404 and Mark Ernestus’ distilled dub. My radio show, Metal Box, conjuring the magic at Goo, all these ingredients have been feeding the evolving creature that is Death in Vegas.
Most centrally through, I’ve been inhaling the deepest dub, from Mark Ernestus’ distillations to the principles of originators like King Tubby and Scientist. As someone who’s always been obsessed with the genre, I loved the idea of recording live takes as separate stems, then doing dub-inspired mixes of these stems through my console.
“Death in Vegas” will be touring from May this year. We look forward to shaking the foundations somewhere near you.”

Peter Murphy has shared a new single, “The Artroom Wonder”, off his upcoming album “Silver Shade” out May 9th via Metropolis.
Peter Murphy shared this about the song: “The Artwoom Wonder is an echo from my fourth year at senior school. Daniel Ash and I are listening to the mysterious sixth-year cool intelligentsia that have gathered in the artroom. We have dared to enter their conclave, and the music coming from it was intriguing. We discover that the song being played is The Bewlay Brothers, highly intelligent, mystical and sensual, with the singer’s voice as seductive as anyone I’d ever heard…It has a surreal approach, telling the story in my typical oblique style, including the description of a lowdown that leads into an evocation of the perfected human being, the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him). The final verse celebrates my own self-advancing and position on this.”
