Hauntu have shared the first single, “Sadist Sun”, of what will be their 1st full length album.

Hauntu is a product of pandemic isolation. These songs were written as a reaction to what’s become of the world these last few years. The weight, the panic, and the dread that living through post-pandemic capitalism and imperialism has placed upon humanity.

A press release says this about the album: “”Combustión Alfanumérica” promises to be an art-pop gem, retaining Ford Proco’s signature kinetic sound with its distinctive filters and hooks. Despite the often-misused label of electronic music, Ford Proco has steadfastly developed their unique style, known since their inception as “Autoconst.”
The album’s cover art is a surrealist collage by Steven Stapleton (Nurse with Wound), complemented by a sleek new Ford Proco logo and design by Acamonchi.”

The band shared this about it: “It’s not every day you get to perform in front of 200,000 people. Mexico City this was a show we’ll never forget and in celebration of the monumental event, we’ve teamed up with Bartleberry Logan and Van Alpert to create an official film. This one’s for us all.”
Fotocrime have released a new song, “Cautious”, available now.
Ryan Patterson shared this about the song: “As happened in the ’80s, the current post-punk and darkwave climate has become infected with watered-down techno and ineffectual imitations that have nothing to do with the spirit of exploration and breaking of boundaries that inspires me. While I’ve loved delving into the softer side of my songwriting, and I’m sure I will go down that path from time to time, with “Cautious” I felt a strong pull to swing the hammer a bit harder than on any past Fotocrime song.”
2 songs from the James Mangold biopic starring Timothée Chalamet “A Complete Unknown” have been released.
Bob Dylan recently tweeted this about the upcoming film: “There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!). Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role. Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me. The film’s taken from Elijah Wald’s Dylan Goes Electric, a book that came out in 2015. It’s a fantastic retelling of events from the early ‘60s that led up to the fiasco at Newport. After you’ve seen the movie read the book.”

The single is a beautiful duet that is authentically country as it is a celebration of the songwriter’s roots.”
