Silent is a band that comes from Mexicali, B.C. in Mexico. It’s members are Andrea Varela behind the drums, Alejandro Lara on guitar, Rodo Ibarra (Maniqui Lazer) on bass and on vocals Jung Sing (Maniqui Lazer, All Leather).
Their album “A Century Of Abuse“, was produced by Ruben Tamayo (FAX, Static), will be released on October 28th, 2016 on Three One G Records.

They are currently on tour with their label mates Retox.
Mr Jung Sing is doing a video tour diary for New Noise Magazine which should be have an interesting view.
Last month we had the chance to see them live in Tijuana at Moustache Bar and their performance was great.
They will be performing in San Diego, CA on 9/16 at Soda Bar, with Retox, don’t miss that show.

On September 5th 1983, ‘This is Not a Love Song’ was released.
The single peaked at number 5 in the UK charts and is a Top 10 hit in Europe.
Public Image Limited and this song have influenced a lot of younger bands, in the case of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs with their song “Heads will roll”.

Freddie Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara, 1946-1991) was a British songwriter, and the lead singer for the legendary rock group Queen. His distinctive sound and large vocal range were hallmarks of his performance style, and he is regarded as one of the greatest rock singers of all time.

Last Saturday we started our residency at MOFO Bar, we will be there every Saturday night hosting NO FUN nights, during the month of September.
This is the music we played, listen to it, enjoy and join us next Saturday September 10, it’s going to be a different set.
