Vinyl Junkies Record Swap Setlist

We were invited to select music for the Vinyl Junkies Record Swap, held at The Casbah on December 9th 2017. The setlist consists of music released in the 1970’s, 1990’s and from 2017. We played the last song by Death EyesSi la revancha fuera una opción” for Tony Reflex from The Adolescents.

Death Eyes – Record release show

On Sunday July 30th, 2017 Death Eyes played a show at Whistle stop bar, for the release of their 7″ “Si La Revancha Fuera Una Opción”, available via Three One G.

The show was fast, short and violent, just like their new EP. It was filled with incendiary outbursts of energy from Jason Blackmore (guitar) and maintaining the thunderous tempo were Jimmy Armbrust (bass) and John Cota (drums). In the center of this sonic turmoil keeping it together with his bilingual howl is Alberto Jurado who commands and demands that attention be placed on the stage.

Here is a video of the band performing one of our favorite songs from their EP, “Si La Revancha Fuera Una Opción”.

They will be playing at the after party for the Dead Cross show in San Diego, (at the Observatory in North Park), August 19 at Space Bar.
They are currently touring the West Coast, check them out!
