Jonah Paz shared this about the song: “My grandpa, who was a musician himself, passed away this May and this song comes from that time. It was an extremely reflective time for me and lead me to write this song that seems to be about how I’ll perceive my current self in the future. This song also is the first song I recorded in my grandpas studio after his passing, a place that I now visit and work in everyday. I am so fortunate that I get to have a place where I can feel so close to someone that I miss so much, while doing the same thing he loved to do which was making music.”
