Eric Curiel shared this about the album: “This one was recorded by Roan Gama, who was one of my first musical collaborators back when we were high school kids playing Soda Stereo covers and more.
The mix was done by The Obsolete from Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, who I’ve been a fan of since the first time I heard them, which is over 10 years ago now. We had previously worked together on other projects and it was during one of those conversations that the idea of collaborating/having him do a mix of my solo work came about.
The mastering was made by Ñois, member of Tajak, just one of the bands I like the most in the Mexican underground scene and whom I met when I was invited to play in Ensenada some time back.
The cover was made by Julio Pillado, my musical collaborator in Shantelle and in so many other projects.
Many thanks to those of you who have already listened to the album. Those who haven’t yet are cordially invited to do so. It’s available on all of the popular digital platforms.”
This album finds Eric Curiel going inwards to try and find the most honest and vulnerable answer as to who Eric Curiel is and that is what is trying to be presented here. Something more honest. Maybe a little bit more raw but more sincere nonetheless. This might be Eric Curiel shedding another layer to present the Eric Curiel of 2024. So time and experience will only dictate what the future will bring to Eric Curiel and what new version will Eric Curiel transform to and what will he share with us.
