Vaya Futuro has released a new single, “Otredad”, off their upcoming album “Fuego, Guíame” out February 12th, 2025.

Luis Aguilar shared this about the song: “I composed this song about the Palestinian genocide that we are witnessing via our cell phones, utilizing “the Otredad” as means for attacking and displacing entire communities without total indignation from the society.

It speaks of total rejection of violence in the name of a God and any other form of  ideology as means for supremacy. This connects to the message in “Sin Nombre” and with the main message in the album: question everything, critique, raise your voice and let our anger be the driving force for change.

I wrote this song because I felt that staying silent is just another way of appeasing the status quo. The indifference is a plague in our generation. Even though our platform may not be as massive I still wanted to say something. This whole album is about trying to revindicate anger as a useful tool of disruption, and this song, even though it may not be a protest song per se, in between the anger and the indignation and the sadness, it does encompass the main aspects of this theme.”
