Fuller shared this about the song and album: “Armed with a bass, a drum machine and a Korg micro preset this, “Rummer”, is my attempt at trying to be Kraftwerk making the theme tune for Ski Sunday!’

As I am primarily a bass player, I almost always use the bass to begin writing a new song. Because of this process I sometimes found myself layering bass lines on top of each other to create a single piece of music. ‘Won A Synth’ is a good example of this – it’s four bass guitars and a drum beat. But I don’t have the ability or desire to show off my dexterity on the bass. I’m in the business of emotion.”

Billy has been has been a participant on many other different projects over the years besides being a founding member of Beak>. He was Robert Plant’s bassist in 2003, was the bass player on Massive Attack’s Heligoland album and on 4 of Baxter Dury’s albums, has played bass for Portishead, Alicia Keys, Billy Nomates, Rachid Taha, Anika, Lucrecia Dalt, Tottenham Hotspur FC(!)… the list goes on.
