A Gustavo Cerati le gustaba la música. Le gustaban todos los géneros. Le gustaba tanto la música, que en lugar de rendirle tributo a esas canciones y/o artistas que tanto admiraba terminó cometiendo plagio.
Sé que es molesto y fácil de contraatacar y decir que él solo tomaba lo que necesitaba. El de todos modos hacia música increíble. Él sigue siendo un icono de la música del rock en español. Blah. Blah. Blah. Aquí no estoy disputando eso. Lo que estoy diciendo es que se robó canciones. Tomó algo que no era de él y lo hizo pasar como original. Quizás esto lo pudo lograr debido a la falta de conocimiento musical de sus fans o quizás sus fans simplemente lo ignoraban con tal de que siguiera sacando un disco mediocre y otro.
En el siguiente video hay varios ejemplos. No los voy a mencionar por escrito para no arruinar la sorpresa.

Portishead – “SOS”, the song is a cover of ABBA‘s 1975 single, it was recorded specifically for the film “High Rise” and not for general release, in the video the band plays tribute to the late politician Jo Cox.
