Dreams really do come true. We will sleep well tonight knowing that forever we can say we co-starred in a film with Cate Blanchett!”

Sparks said this about the album: “This is as bold and uncompromising as anything we did back then, or for that matter, anytime throughout our career”.

Tracey Thorn said this about the song: “Lyrically “Caution To The Wind” is a simple song about arrival and seizing the moment, so with the music we tried to capture the feeling of a perpetual point in time”. Ben Watt shared this about it: “I let the words quickly collapse and loop inside the production. The drums emerge and repeat, and everything then starts to unfold in cycles of anticipation and release. I guess it’s just classic nightclub tension and euphoria.”

There are no current live dates that have been announced (yet), or any plans for touring in support of the album for that matter.

There’s a simplicity to ‘New Order T-Shirt’ that reminds me of our earlier records, but with the full maturity and experience we have now. It feels like a really important song for the future of our band.”

The band will go on tour to support the album, some of the shows are already sold out with a 2nd date added in some cities. Also, the band will have the honor and privilege of having Patti Smith as support when they play Madison Square Garden.

They had dated back in Belize and reconnected years later in New York. My father didn’t really want to leave for Montréal, but he did. And it was hard for him: the harsh winters, the language barrier, the color of his skin. He was a skilled musician but that was barely going to keep the lights on—never mind feed a growing family. His lack of formal education, and his lack of French, limited his opportunities. Nevertheless, he just wanted to be with her. So he figured out a way, and that’s what his life was mostly about, I think—what I’ve deduced. Maybe there’s way more to it and that’s the romantic version, but it’s a version at least I can understand. Nothing else computes. My parents stayed married for 56 years.”

The video for the track was directed by Ambar Navarro. Navarro shared this about the video: “This was heavily inspired by ’60s television live performances and focusing on the minimal set pieces, referencing The Carpenters, Tom Petty, and especially The Monkees’ TV Show and absurd/surreal comedy of that era.”

The Lemon Twigs shared this about the song via a press release: “We were hired to write material and act in an interactive TV show about an imaginary ’70s brother band. We wrote a bunch of KISS type songs for the soundtrack plus this one. This one wasn’t quite right for the show, so we held it back. For a month in 2019, we filmed all 8 episodes. In the fallout of a high profile lawsuit taken by the company against Quibi, the show was shelved and remains on someone’s hard drive if not completely erased to save space. The song’s about the cyclical nature of life. Everything goes on and on. Out with the old, in with the new!”

The Twigs will head out in support of the album starting this April.

The band will go on tour to support their album starting this April.
