Mike D has shared a new single, “Switch Up”, which is the first release from a Beastie Boy since their last album as a band in 2011.

Mike D shared this about the release of the song: “Ok. Here we go. I know we are not putting anybody into space and there are a lot of huge problems in our world right now and didn’t realize this was a big deal to me until woke up today and was like “sh*t. “Switch Up” comes out tonight”. Hoping it brings some happiness for all y’all.”
