MorMor has shared 2 new singles, “Dawn2” and “Hurt You”, off his upcoming album “No One Alive Will Listen” out October 30th via Promised Land Records.

MorMor shared this about the song: “I wrote ‘Dawn 2’ while being out in LA. I had been hanging out with Caleb Laven and we started this one at his studio. I was still with my girlfriend at the time but things were beginning to feel as if they were fraying at the seams. I must have been avoiding some of these feelings but that’s the magic in music; It often pulls things to the forefront. Your subconscious collects everything and it sort of all comes out.”

MorMor shared this about the other song: “”Hurt You” came out of a session in London with Jonathan Quarmby. He’s one of the most generous, kind-hearted people I’ve ever met. Inspired by listening to Daft Punk’s ‘Veridis Quo’ while on the way to the studio, we built the track around that idea, and lyrically it became a reflection on the times I’ve hurt people. The first verse is very much about me, the second shifts perspective, but the core idea is about recognising that we’re all shaped by what we’re given, from our upbringing to our traumas. For me, it’s about accountability, but also compassion and understanding that growth comes from helping people rise, not tearing them down.”
