Wanda Jackson, the Queen of Rockabilly, will release her final album “Encore” on August 20th via Big Machine / Blackheart.

The first single is the cover “It Keeps Right On A Hurtin'”.

Wanda Jackson retired from touring back in 2019. This album will be her 32nd and follows 2010’s The Party Ain’t Over, which was produced by Jack White, and 2012’s Unfinished Business, which was produced by the late Justin Townes Earle. For this last one she partnered up with Joan Jett and Kenny Laguna for 8 songs that were recorded before her announcement.

We were fortunate enough to have seen her performance a couple of times and each performance was magical in its own way.
